fair in the land of Pushkar.

DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI by FLIGHT
You will be greeted by our local representative who will guide you further before you are transferred to your hotel.
A closer look at Delhi
Delhi, being the national capital of India, is the lifeline of the country: a place where the past, greeting the future, lives calmly and is worth a detailed visit. Whether its inviting markets of Connaught Place or the crowds of foodies at world-famous Chandni Chowk, Delhi has food to satiate your taste buds and lovable locales to entertain your senses. It is a place where all important national offices reside and it has a mixture of a multi-lingual population coming to work and earning its living. Ancient Mughal era remnants like Humayun ka Makbara and magnificent Qutub Minar spell the historical importance of this ancient soil. Delhi has old world charm as well as modern lifestyle necessities to cherish at its every nook and corner. The magnificence of the Red Fort and the mystery of Jantar Mantar is really enchanting. The banks of River Yamuna serve as a rich platform for the flourishing culture.
Sightseeing experience
The sightseeing starts with the strong and ever-standing glory of Qutub Minar, which is world- famous for its non-rusting qualities. The architectural significance of Humayun’s Tomb
makes it a proud sample of the Mughal era building technique. Listening to hymns and religious verses at famous Laxmi Narayan Temple is enchanting. Get closer to the Indian legacy and witness the journey of India from a ruled
country to a free democracy by taking a look at places such as India Gate, the
President’s Palace, secretariat buildings and Indian Parliament House. Bask in the richness of Old Delhi and
see for yourself the red stone marvel – Red Fort. A visit to Raj Ghat will make you understand the philosophy and peace-propagating thoughts of India’s father - Mahatma Gandhi.

DAY 2: DELHI – AGRA by road ( 205 kms. / 4 hours approximately)

Agra – The land of love
Known for its world-famous monument and memoir of everlasting love, the Taj stands right
inside the heart of Agra. Silently standing on the ever-flowing waters of the River Yamuna, the Taj reminds everyone of the glory, charisma and the love for life carved strongly in the heart of the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. The architectural importance of all monuments like the Taj, Agra Fort and other tombs is so much that travellers keep coming over here again and again. In addition to the architectural wonders, this city is famous for its crowded markets and roadside stalls, where one can find local chicken clothing, small replicas of the Taj Mahal and other notable stuff. This city rejuvenates the value of love in front of modern couples, so that they come here to celebrate togetherness and the feeling of love. A close look at Mughal cuisine and architecture is possible only in Agra.
Charisma of love and life at Agra – the experience
After breakfast, you head on to witness the mesmerising Taj Mahal, waiting for you to embrace its history, its story and the reason for its very existence. Silently standing, this wonderful monument reminds us of the soft corner in the heart of King Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The sight of this glorious place in the full moon night is awesome. River Yamuna flowing at the backside of this monument is more than perfect for boating and some calm moments with yourself and your loved ones. Agra Fort is a remarkable building carved at the time of Akbar. Other notable structures like Jahangiri Mahal, Diwan-e-Khaas, Diwan-e-Aam, Moti Masjid and Machchi Bhawan were built during the reign of Shah Jahan. They hold the legacy of the old-style Mughal era and embrace the art and culture of the rulers who once ruled over here.

DAY 3: AGRA-JAIPUR by road visiting FATEHPUR SIKRI mid-way (249 kms. / 7 hours approximately)

Shortly after starting your journey to Jaipur, you stop by the roadside about 37 kms. from Agra to see the famous abandoned place of Fatehpur Sikri. Built during the rule of King Akbar, it was deserted after only 14 years due to scarcity of water. The red sandstones and the remarkable architecture still convey the dreams of Akbar, which somehow went unrealised. Its magnificent courtyards and grand palaces recreate that special era once again.
Get back on your journey towards Jaipur now and relax overnight in a selected hotel once you are in the pink city.
DAY 4: IN JAIPUR

A look at the pink city of Jaipur
Famous for its pink-coloured walls and grand historical buildings, Jaipur is certainly one great city to lay your feet on. Here, the crowds, love for life and colourful culture all combine together to give a unique travelling experience. The modern city and the old one are making an effort to stay together. The City Palace of Jaipur, where royalty comes to a unique form, has an impressive collection of antiques and goods from the ancient time. The family of royals still resides in one part of the fort whereas the remaining portions have now been converted into a palace museum for travellers. Hawa Mahal is a unique creation in itself because of its art work. The walls are decorated with mirror-work and sitting at the windows of this palace feels just awesome. Amber Fort lies on the quiet sloping side of the city, unfolding tales of its rulers and their lives.
Sightseeing experience
Take an elephant ride to the majestic palace of Amber, where morning sunrays welcome you inside the protected walls of the palace. Miniature paintings on the walls are remarkable. The Hall of Victory is inside the fort campus, which is also known by the name of Jag Mandir. Sheesh Mahal inside Jag Mandir is a great example of the art and mirror work imported into India from Belgium a few centuries back. You can try your hands at photography in the picturesque Hawa Mahal. The next attraction is City Palace, which occupies almost 1/7 of the total city of Jaipur. Converted into a museum, this palace is still home to the Royal family. A great collection of armoury, daggers, rifles, swords and guns can be seen here. Witness also the remarkable observatory, made exclusively from stones and marble, called Jantar Mantar. You can see around 17 instruments here.

DAY 5: JAIPUR -BIKANER by road (336 kms. / 6 hours approximately)
After breakfast at your hotel, you embark towards Bikaner via road and upon reaching there, you check in to your hotel.
The magnificence of Bikaner
Leaving behind the crowds and competing shopkeepers, Bikaner is a picture of calm among other noted cities in Rajasthan. The colours, culture and the life spirit of the residents of this sand- kissed land are commendable. Famous for its unique and enchanting camel safaris, Bikaner has all the comfort of small to large hotels for an avid traveller. Apart from the City Palace, which is a great remnant from the past, the tie-and-dye industry, local cuisines and local culture capture the prime spot in this city. Being home to a large population, Bikaner is cherished for its peaceful locales, an enjoyable stay and fun cultural visits. Laxminath Temple is adorable due to its ancient architecture whereas a visit to museums like Prachina Cultural Centre and Ganga Government Museum is enjoyable. Constructed by the great king Rao Bikaji after a family feud with his father Rao Jodhaji, Bikaner is a four-walled city that encompasses lots of stories and colours in its kitty. Its inviting markets feel less crowded and are best for indulging in some local shopping experience. Availability of unique handicrafts, antique items and local spices make roaming around the market streets a sheer delight. A visit to the city palace is commendable as it brings you closer to the historical time zone of a specific time that has passed. Get a taste of the ancient articles and cultural items in the museums like Prachina Cultural Centre and Ganga Government Museum. Another star attraction is Junagarh Fort ,which receives high footfalls every season. Its large walls are spread across an area of 986 metres, along with two entrances and 37 bastions. Feel religious vibes at famous Laxminath Temple and Bhandasar Temple.

DAY 6: BIKANER – JAISALMER by road (333 kms. / 7 hours approximately)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before starting the road trip from Bikaner to Jaisalmer. In arriving in Jaisalmer city, you check in to your hotel for rest. After the overnight stay, you gear up for next day’s Jaisalmer visit.
DAY 7: IN JAISALMER
A look at Jaisalmer as a traveller’s delight
Jaisalmer seems like a dream-like place that has been realised for experiencing the best things about Rajasthan. Whether its castles, forts and markets, Jaisalmer has no match. Keeping aside the honking of horns and the traffic scene, travellers here love to indulge in sightseeing and shopping. City Palace is a unique structure made exclusively from the honey-coloured sandstone giving the city a beautiful name – ‘The golden city’.
A trail of havelis lies inside the narrow hidden streets of Jaisalmer. Numerous shops can be found over here, selling exclusive local items. Being famous during the medieval era for its camel trades and cultural richness, this land of rising sun is keeping the charm alive. The city has revived its very existence in the last half-century and has become a prominent landmark for travellers across the world. Coming to Jaisalmer means opening the first chapter in the tale of Rajasthan.
After breakfast at your hotel, you then proceed to sightseeing of the golden city.
The enchanting sights at Jaisalmer
The tour of Jaisalmer comprises three star attractions: these are Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temple and the Old Havelis. The first experience of Jaisalmer starts with a close encounter with the Jaisalmer Fort. Built on the Trikuta hills, this honey golden-coloured marvel still leaves travellers wondering about its existence. The fort has no doubt revived itself with time. You will find plenty of bargaining opportunity in the small shops, selling local adornments and antiques. The road out of the fort takes you to Manak Chowk, the main market area of Jaisalmer and housing its bigger shops. A glimpse of the fortunate merchants can be felt by walking through the elaborate and art-oriented mansions or Havelis. Salim Singh ki Haweli and Patwon ki Haweli have unique craftsmanship in their stone-work and mirror decoration techniques. After a busy and fully enjoyable day at Jaisalmer, you will have an adventurous camel ride in the nearby desert terrain.

DAY 8: JAISALMER –JODHPUR by road (295 kms. / 6 hours approximately)
After having breakfast at your hotel, you kick-start your journey via road towards Jodhpur. After a journey of approximately 6 hours, you will check in to your room in your Jodhpur hotel.
What Jodhpur is all about
Whether its strong-standing Mehrangarh Fort or the strength shown in history by the rulers, Jodhpur is a live picture of bravery, will to fight and staying lively through all that life has thrown at this place. The Mehrangarh Fort is an architectural masterpiece and so are the tales behind its origin. The base area near this fort is occupied with blue-coloured Brahmin houses, once a symbol depicting the caste of its inhabitants. Stories and remnants of war are carved at each corner of this city, which seem to be preserved so well as the city takes pride in the same. The confusing web of streets in Jodhpur is filled with small shops, more than perfect for your bargaining adventures. The smell of roses, incense sticks and shops selling temple essentials is a delight. In addition to these, significant war memorials and amazing bazaars are noted attractions in the city of Jodhpur.
The unique taste of Jodhpur (sightseeing experience)
This much-talked about place came into existence around 500 years back when Rathore Rajputs made it the place of their war victory celebrations. From that era to this day, Jodhpur has kept the charisma alive. Palaces and forts built by them are a significant storyteller of this city’s rich heritage and its role in the development of Rajasthan. The indulgence inside the strong fort of Mehrangarh can be felt in its every stone and wall. Carved on a low hilltop of sandstone, this prestigious fort will amaze you. Its 10 kilometre wall was once a protection for the fort’s inhabitants from sudden calamities. The memorial built for Maharaja Jaswant Singh II is famous by the name of Jaswant Thada. Other smaller memorials are also present alongside this memorial. Crowded and buzzing markets in Jodhpur sell everything related to the city’s glorious culture. Traditional food is an added attraction here.

DAY 9: JODHPUR-RANAKPUR-UDAIPUR by road (259 kms /6 hours approx.)
After breakfast at your hotel, your journey towards Udaipur begins. On the way, a small break at Ranakpur will also be taken.
Ranakpur
Ranakpur is a small place in-between Jodhpur and Udaipur that has a magnificent Jain temple. Dedicated to Tirthankara Adinatha, this temple is better known for its architecture and importance among Jains living in the nearby area. A small sun temple deserves mention too for its ambience.
After the brief visit, you head on towards Udaipur, checking in to your hotel upon arrival. After staying overnight at your hotel, you gear up for the following day’s tour in Udaipur.
DAY 10: UDAIPUR

Udaipur ‘The city of lakes’
Then comes Udaipur - ‘The city of lakes’. Built around a web of man-made lakes, this small and peaceful tourist destination is seeing more footfalls now. Famous for its City Palace and Museum, Jagdish Temple and boat rides, there is a complete opportunity for a plethora of activities in this small and buzzing place. The beauty of the surrounding hilltops adds much- needed flavour into the already mesmerising waters of Lake Pichola. In addition to these, Udaipur is famous for its small textile industry, spice-selling market and the local shops where anyone can buy local antiques and artworks. It’s best-suited for the adventurous and peace- loving travellers. A small café in-between the famous Pichola Lake is great for some ‘me time’ and snacks along with a hot cup of coffee. The City Palace offers a sneak peek into the lives and traditions of the royal family that once built this amazing place.
Experiencing Udaipur
You will feel fresh air coming straight from the lakes of this calm city into your room’s window. Visiting the City Palace is the first thing on your list and it deserves so. Offering a great view from its every nook and corner, the palace is half-museum, giving you a sense of living approximately 200 years back. Coming out from this palace, you will come across famous Jagdish Temple. Looking like a simple yet ancient temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it has lots of positive vibes. Then comes the local market, where large to small shops try to seek your attention. Buying local clothes, spices and antiques is a good option over here. Saheliyon ki badi is a small park with blooming roses, dedicated to fun. After spending a busy day, you have a comforting boat ride on Lake Pichola along with local fast-food tasting.

DAY 11: UDAIPUR-PUSHKAR by road (280 kms. / 6 hours approximately)
After much-needed sleep, you will be all set to begin your road trip to Pushkar, which is located at a distance of about 280 kms. from the ‘city of lakes’.
This day starts with a trip to the world-famous place called Pushkar. Starting your road journey right after finishing your breakfast, you will reach this much-talked about place in about 6 hours’ time. Once you reach here, you can make yourself comfortable in your hotel room. After that, your rendezvous with Pushkar starts on a positive note.
The pious land of Pushkar
This city is in every sense a creation of Lord Brahma, who seems to have blessed this land with beauty, peace and prosperity. Known worldwide for its rare Brahma Temple, this fantastic place has the right ingredients to shake the spiritual pursuits of any traveller. The city of Pushkar looks more than awesome with its elaborate bathing ghats and the clusters of milky-blue temples. An appropriate place to feel your inner self, it brings back the connection with the divinity. The main market or Bazaar of Pushkar is the best locale for satisfying your search for something amazing. The market is filled with the exclusive hand-crafted items that are appropriate for your loved ones. Thriving over the calm tranquil land of Pushkar, travellers come here to experience an altogether unique life experience. Sightseeing experience in Pushkar
Being a close place to Ajmer Dargah, Pushkar lies at a distance of merely 11 kilometres. The calm and mystical feeling of this land welcomes you with a great enthusiasm. You will experience beauty, simplicity and divineness in its temples. Listening to the sound of morning bells and hymns chanting will open your soul for much-needed inside refreshment. You will find amazing stuff at the local markets where you can try a little bargaining. Tie-and-dye clothes and banana pancakes are trademark items that can be bought in Pushkar. Pilgrims take a dip in the Pushkar Ghats and dissolve their worries in the holy waters. The sight of small milky-white temples and the splashes of water make it a place apt for rebooting yourself. DAY 12: PUSHKAR-AJMER by road (16 kms. / 45 minutes)
AJMER - DELHI by train
You have breakfast in the morning and get ready to travel to Ajmer. On reaching there, you take the train for the journey back to Delhi.
You have a final night’s stay in India in your hotel in Delhi.
DAY 13: Leave DELHI by flight
After breakfast, you are transferred back to the airport for the flight to your onward destination.
